Brooklyn's Art Studio for Creative Misfits

Dirtbag ArtHaus is a women-founded art and pottery studio in Bushwick, Brooklyn. We teach ceramics, drawing, and painting for every level — and if classes aren't your thing, monthly memberships get you into the studio on your own schedule.

The Space Natural light, 15-foot ceilings, lush plants, and walls covered in work by our instructors and members. 13 pottery wheels, 13 workstations, on-site kilns, and 35+ glazes at 229 Cook St — a short walk from the Morgan Ave L.

Who You'll Meet Here WFH escapees, first-time throwers, working artists, and everyone in between. We're LGBTQ+-forward and welcome all neurotypes — the people who keep showing up are the whole point.

Come See It YourselfBook a free studio tour, try a one-night class, or look at membership plans.

Dont Do Art Alone

How Dirtbag Started Our founder, Alexis, spent years in tech craving a departure from screens and Zoom calls — a place to rediscover creative joy with other people in the room. Dirtbag ArtHaus is that place: an open, inclusive studio where adults can play, refine their skills, or simply get messy alongside creative misfits from every discipline.
